Traditionally we begin the New Year with our participation in the SolidWorks World conference and exposition. This year, the SolidWorks World 2007 will take place in the newly renovated Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, U.S.A., from February, 4 - 7, 2007.

As Gold-certified partner of SolidWorks, we are committed to single-window integration and full associativity with SolidWorks® 2007 – in our view the best combination to streamline design time and reduce costs throughout the entire manufacturing process. On SolidWorks World 2007, we will demonstrate in the partner pavillion the new SolidCAM2007 R11.1 version. This version complements the main SolidCAM2007 R11 release, introduced in the Fall of 2006, and will primarily add important extensions for production applications.

The automatic feature recognition capabilities are greatly enhanced with the addition of a powerful automatic pocket recognition and machining capability, that enables the handling of any prismatic part with multiple, complex, interconnected pockets. The new R11.1 version will also provide a machine simulation with toolcutting verification for turning and mill-turn machines. This will improve the optimum part setup and avoid unnecessary tests on the actual machines.

Dear reader, we wish You and Your families a successful start into the year 2007 and look forward to meet you at SolidWorks World 2007.
