SolidCAM and Mitsubishi Electric expand their strategic partnership to boost CNC technology in Brazil and worldwide.

SolidCAM LATAM was honored to welcome Mr. Keisuke Yamanaka and Mr. Thiago Caetano, experts from Mitsubishi Electric Brasil, to kick off a strategic partnership with enormous potential for the global industrial sector.

This alliance, initiated in 2023 by SolidCAM INDIA with the integration of SolidCAM for Operators on Mitsubishi CNCs, brings together two leading companies in technology and innovation with a clear purpose: to bring knowledge, efficiency, and machining intelligence to thousands of Mitsubishi control users, both in Brazil and in global markets.

Mitsubishi Electric is widely recognized for the robustness of its automation solutions and its commitment to technological advancement in manufacturing, supplying CNC controls to several renowned machine manufacturers worldwide.

The Swiss-type machinery segment, an area of technical and commercial dominance by SolidCAM, widely uses Mitsubishi controls in machines such as Citizen Machinery UK, Hanwha Machinery America, Inc., Nomura DS, and Star Micronics, to name a few.

In the milling and turning segment, Veker, FFG FEELER, Mazak North America, and many other machines use Mitsubishi technology in their CNC controls.

The cooperation between the two technology leaders aims to

✔️ Strengthen technical ties between the teams of both companies;
✔️ Produce educational content and training initiatives;
✔️ Expand the practical possibilities between Mitsubishi CNCs and SolidCAM for Operators, which runs within Mitsubishi CNCs together with         SolidCAM's SolidShop PDM;
✔️ Dissemination of knowledge through webinars and marketing channels;
✔️ Expansion of Mitsubishi API functionality to allow customers using SolidCAM's I4.0 platform (SolidShop) to extract even more information from   the machine PLC, such as axis temperature, sensor data, and other specific axis data, etc.

More than a technical collaboration, this partnership represents a strategic move towards the digital transformation of the industry, connecting innovation, expertise, and real impact on the factory floor and in the management of manufacturing companies.

It is the continuation of a journey that will certainly bring significant benefits to the local and global manufacturing industry.
