Training Course prerequisites:

  • Completed SW Essentials
  • Completed SolidCAM 2.5D Milling and Turning
  • Basic knowledge of CNC milling and turning machine
  • Basic knowledge of GCode format for Fanuc controller
  • Completed Post-Processor Certification
  • Installed VS Code
  • Installed Sync Editor
  • Trainees are required to bring their own computer with SC2022 SP3 and SW2022 installed

DAY 1

  • Standardization of GPP and VMID
  • Understanding the Coordinate set
  • Building initial XZC Mill-Turn in VMID and setup initial parameters
  • Developing foundations and future proven GPP structure
  • Adding the Y-axis
  • Handling Tool Calls and Tool-offsets
  • Handling the Coolant options

DAY 2

  • Adding Back Spindle and Lower Turret (Multi-Channel case)
  • Building Machine Simulation
  • Understanding the Multi-Channel and supporting it in GPP (@sync_process, open|close_file, Axes and Spindle synchronization and Drive unit share)
  • Developing essential MCO cycles (Retracts, Tool Change, Part Pick-off, Pull, Retract with Part, Part Release)
  • Understanding the Get Functions and practical usage
  • Tips and Tricks

  • The process of Post-Processor verification
  • Supporting angular heads
  • Python possibilities
  • New Setup Sheet overview
  • Adjusting post processor for Swiss-Type machine
  • Quiz
