I am a technology education teacher in central Pennsylvania. We use SolidWorks as our main design software in all our our classes. We have also been using SolidCAM for the past 12 years to create tool paths for CNC machining. I have found that SolidCAM is easy for students to learn. The SolidCAM team has always been willing to answer my questions, no matter how big or small they may seem. I would recommend SolidCAM to any high school teacher who wants to offer their students cutting edge technology.

Following recent update to SolidWorks 2022 subsequent failure of some operations in SolidCAM, I needed help with several issues. Joshua S. was VERY knowledgeable on how to solve these issues. Additionally, he determined that I was eligible for upgrade to SolidCAM 2022 and helped walk thru the upgrade process, getting my post updated and installed. He made the whole tech support encounter a pleasant experience. I'd give him the highest recommendation. It was nice to speak with someone in the United States that I had no trouble understanding. I have just purchased i machining so I am totally new to this software. I also have just taken delivery of a new CNC mill so I have to learn both systems. Mr. Middleby was extremely helpful in showing me how to machine a test part that I am using to understand solidcam.

Whenever I've got an issue and need to call SC support, I'm always hoping Joshua Schmidt will pick up. He's been able to help me with every crazy problem I've encountered and also provides multiple ways around it. He's also easy to communicate with. Keep this guy on the team, he is a solid one.

After briefly describing the issue I was having, Tim knew exactly what was causing the problem and resolved it in less than 5 minutes. I feel like most support teams now adays, do not have first -hand experience with the software that they are trying to help their customers with. The SolidCam guys defiantly do. No long waits while the tech bumbles through a help manual, just quick solutions and resolution.

Darrell Lykins is a very professional and knowledgeable individual with the software. He is a pleasure to work with. He makes the training fun and a breeze to learn. I cant wait till he comes to do IN person training.

Eric takes his time to answer my questions and shows me other options that might be better suited for the part that I'm making, i.e.. options that give me as a programmer more control over tool paths to eliminate issues that I'm having

The support at SolidCam is excellent. I get immediate responses from very knowledgeable individuals. I've been with SolidCam for many years and could not be happier. They are also extremely helpful with posts or post updates and Harry is great.

Harry Glover provided a speedy fix to our Okuma post processor to be able to set tool length callout values in toolpaths within Solidcam. Its made our workflow easier and safer, having eliminated manually altering the tool length offset values after gcoding. Pleasant, fast and friendly service!

Great experience thorough out the setup. Super fast response and delivered the exact needed solutions to my issue. :)

Tim was quick to respond and he is very knowledgeable about the product.

Had some issues. Tim bared with me and my novice knowledge of the software and came through with no problem figuring out what I needed and getting it all on path for us.

We had a power failure overnight that must have affected our VM license server. I called bright and early, before 8am EST and immediately got through to support personnel. Tim Mika had up up and going in no time! Awesome experience!
