Welcome Benjamin Tan – SVP Asia Pacific at SolidCAM!

We are pleased to welcome Benjamin Tan as SolidCAM's new Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific, where he will lead our next phase of growth across the region.

With over 20 years of experience driving regional expansion for global technology companies, Benjamin brings a collaborative approach to building sustainable businesses and high-performing teams.

Most recently, as VP for Asia Pacific at Ultimaker, he established the company’s regional footprint and led teams across Japan, China, South Korea, India, ASEAN, and ANZ to deliver strategic growth.

Before that, Benjamin spent over a decade at Dassault Systèmes, rising through key leadership roles and ultimately serving as Director for the SOLIDWORKS business in ASEAN & ANZ. There, he gained deep expertise in guiding organizations through technology transitions while strengthening customer relationships.

Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a Graduate Diploma in Technology Management from the University of Washington. He is especially passionate about developing talent and cultivating partnerships that create long-term value — qualities that strongly reflect SolidCAM’s culture and vision.
