On January 23rd, <link http: www.premiumsolutions.pl external-link-new-window external link in new>Premium Solutions, SolidCAM's reseller in Poland, officially opened their new branch at <link http: www.dpin.pl en external-link-new-window external link in new>Lower Silesian Innovation and Science Park in Wroclaw, Poland.

The event was graced with the presence of the Secretary of State from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, Mrs. Eva Wendel and with the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Prof. Jacek Guliński.

Among the invited guests were the Governor of Lower Silesia, the Marshal of Lower Silesia and representatives of national and regional institutions related to the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from Wroclaw universities and also by entrepreneurs - from micro-enterprises to global corporations, including members of the cluster <link http: www.cinnomatech.pl en pages external-link-new-window external link in new>CINNOMATECH.

Prof. Edward Chlebus, CEO of DPIN, presented the idea of the park creation as an organizational and technological platform that promotes entrepreneurship and science. "Our goal is to lead in technology, that is, to search for new solutions and their implementation in enterprises, first, locally and at a later stage, in an international environment." - said the professor. 

Minister Wendel presented a new perspective of financing EU projects under the operational program Horizon 2020. Minister Guliński paid special attention to the importance of science to the economy, which is expected to provide new organizational and technical solutions for enterprises.

Premium Solutions Company also had the opportunity during the meeting to present their offer. Krzysztof Cekiera, the Director of the Wroclaw branch, presented the company’s areas of business activity and talked about future plans and directions of development for the company.

Guests were invited to the production hall to observe the live iMachining cutting using the <link http: www.fanucrobotics.com robodrill default.aspx external-link-new-window external link in new>FANUC Robodrill machining center.
