SolidCAM had an excellent showing at the Westec 2023 exhibition, in Long Beach, California.

The biggest draws to the booth were the Tornos and Levil CNC machines. Visitors were impressed that we had a Tornos Swiss CNC in our booth and equally impressed that we have a software package to match. The Levil CNC drew quite a bit of attention, given the strong performance that it achieves, very fast cutting of steel with iMachining.

The biggest partner win for us at the show was having a Tornos Group machine at the booth. Tornos liked that we were able to welcome them into our booth and give them a chance to showcase in the west coast. We will continue to build that relationship with them as we go with plans in place to do SolidCAM Swiss CAM training of their applications staff, as well as potential collaboration at IMTS 2024.

The next big win that we had at this show was the fact that we were the only CAM company that Star Swiss CNC promoted in their booth. We had a video display that highlighted using our software on their machines. Two out of the 3 machines in the Star booth were programmed by SolidCAM and the 3rd machine was hand-programmed in Japan.

Talks at the Westec show included being invited once again to showcase SolidCAM at the MD&M West 2024 show, coming up in February in Anaheim, California.
