NEW Star Swiss-Type CNC Arrives at SolidCAM UK Technology Centre

SolidCAM UK installed a the Star SR38 Type B in their Technology Centre. SolidCAM UK will soon be cutting parts, creating videos, and holding LIVE events to demonstrate the power of SolidCAM's Advanced Mill-Turn and Swiss-Type solutions.

SolidCAM UK began a new journey with Star GB by welcoming the latest Swiss CNC Machine addition to their Technology Centre, the Star SR38 Type B.  

SolidCAM UK engineers are currently training on the machine, and will soon be cutting parts, creating videos, and holding LIVE events, to share with the SolidCAM community, prospects and customers, demonstrating the power of SolidCAM's Advanced Mill-Turn and Swiss-Type solutions.  

SolidCAM UK also joined Star, and many other manufacturers, as a Technical Member of the BTMA (British Turned Parts Manufacturing Association / www.btma.org). Many of SolidCAM UK's customers, anda large number of the UK's leading sub-contract companies, that specialize in turned parts using Swiss-Type CNCs, are also members of BTMA.  

SolidCAM UK hopes to add value to many of these companies, by demonstrating the benefits of SolidCAM's powerful CAM solutions. The new Star CNC and the BTMA membership are essential steps for SolidCAM UK to become the DeFacto standard for Advanced Mill-Turn and Swiss CAM, further enhancing the partnership with Star GB and complementing their range of Swiss-Type (Sliding-Head) CNC machines.
