SolidCAM booth at the EMO 2013 exhibition, Hannover, Germany

SolidCAM had an impressive booth at the EMO 2013 exhibition, held in Hannover, Germany, Sep 16-21, 2013.

Using 6 demonstration places, the SolidCAM team, together with three of our Resellers in Germany, DPS, Auron and UniCAM, demonstrated the latest versions of our products SolidCAM + SolidWorks and InventorCAM + Inventor.

As usual, to show the power of our latest technologies in real LIVE cutting, we had an Alzmetall GS800-ST 5-axis machining center, with Siemens 840D controller at our booth.

We did hourly LIVE iMachining 2D & 3D, Simultaneous 5-Axis cutting and Simultaneous 4-axis turning, presented on large video screen to all attendees.

Another highlight was the first presentation of a new generation cutter of Hoffmann tools, which was developed specifically for high speed machining with iMachining.

Parallel to the exhibition, a two-day global SolidCAM Reseller meeting was held on the grounds of the EMO, with nearly 100 SolidCAM staff and resellers from all over the world. Dr Emil Somekh, Founder and Managing Director of SolidCAM and his team presented to the participants the technical features of the latest version SolidCAM 2013 SP3 and the upcoming SolidCAM 2014. Bekir Kilic,  SolidCAM GmbH's Technical manager, presented the remarkable success story of SolidCAM GmbH and iMachining in Germany.

SolidCAM GmbH has a team of 52 staff, with main office in Schramberg, South Germany, and five additional offices in Rosenheim, Hoerstel, Suhl, Worms and Amberg. Gerhard Lägeler, Manager of SolidCAM GmbH, is convinced that the interplay between great software, machine tools, cutting tools and the strong team of SolidCAM GmbH is the reason behing SolidCAM GmbH's continued success in realizing the potential of SolidCAM and revolutionary iMachining.

We had a very successful exhibition and an excellent response to our demonstrations of SolidCAM 2013, InventorCAM 2013 and iMachining. Many sales were closed during the exhibition, in addition to a large amount of leads from new potential customers.
