Emil,

I visited our SolidCAM customer A.K Shvav to train his programmer Slava on our mill-turn module for his Johnford XYZC machine...

They have also 1 seat of competitor CAM software.

I started to explain to him about iMachining and he wanted me to show him iMachining in live cutting. 

We cut a part with iMachining on his Pinnacle CNC machine.

Material: Ph 15-5 (S.steel)

Depth: 20 mm Tool - Hanita Carbide Rough End Mill D12 Z4 

iMachining Level: 4 

Spindle load: 0 - 5% (see attached picture)

iMachining cutting time: 10 min 4 sec
(see attached picture)

Slava took the part from me and tried to create the same job on the competitor's software, to get the same cutting time as iMachining.

He used first a regular pocket job of the competitor software and got 34 Min. He then used the competitor software new technology and got 33 Min.


He tried to insert in the competitor's new technology the feeds and spindle speeds (since it does not have a Wizard like iMachining), but could not improve the cutting time.

He said to me: "iMachining is unbelievable - it really works very well. This is the first time I see something like that".


I referred the matter to Zvika to close the deal for selling additional iMachining module.
