Good Morning Anthony,

I wanted to take the time to give some positive feedback on iMachining.

To say I’m impressed would be an understatement, the task I’ve had are some 5” square by 1” thick 304 Stainless Steel blanks.

The part finishes at a 4.6 diameter flange .19 thick with a small rectangular boss on the flange.

The finished part is approximately 20 percent of the blank in volume, (80% is chips).

I am using a .5 diameter bull nose EM and it has 18 hours of cut time.

I just looked at the tool under a microscope and you can’t tell if it has 10 minutes of cut time or 10 hours - still sharp, coating is intact - I am using level 6 on the technology wizard.


This is one of the jobs I would say “I don’t believe it, till I see it” and in my opinion it is a real, tangible, technology advancement in programming.
