Hi all,

I visited SolidCAM customer El Al Aviation industry to demonstrate the power of iMachining.

I used 2D iMachining.


CNC Machine: DMG (very old machine)

Machine parameters: Spin rate: 2000  Feed :1500 , the machine is 25 years old

Material : 4340 Steel

Depth of cut: 47 mm

Tool: End mill, diameter 12, teeth 4 

Cutting time customer: 40 minutes

iMachining Wizard: level 4 (no turbo)

Cutting time iMachining: 14 minutes(65% saving)

Workers who attended the demonstration were very impressed with the results, the speed of processing and the smooth cutting.

I explained to them that because  of the old machine, we used only the level 4.

Also, I demonstrated the Probe module. The customer is also interested in this module.

The programmers are interested in purchasing both the modules of iMachining and Probe.
