Dear Dr. Emil,

First  iMachining trial on Forged Steel successfully completed at Coimbatore, INDIA at customer Ravilla Precision.

 

Excellent results: 80% Time savings proved on a 5 Yrs old local Indian Machine, being used by customer as a production machine.

 

Prospect Need: New Prospect currently was facing a challenge to meet production target due to longer machining time, due to current process of a combination of conventional & TurnMill Machining.

 

 Job: Turret of a CNC turning center.

 Material: Forged Steel 45C8, Hardness – About 23 HRC.

 Cutter used: Dia 10, 4 Flute, 30 Deg Helix, 25 mm Deep Machining.

 

Total Cutting time in iMachining: 47 Mins vs current Time of 240 mins (80% saving).

 

Complete Job programmed & machined by – Ashok our Product manager at Bangalore team, supported by Amod remotely.

 Members of production team were excited & termed our trial as Real Eye opener to the manufacturing industry.

By the end of the trial Seco Application manager stamped their confidence in our technology to the prospect by saying – ”I Trust iMachining”.

Discussion with top management – GM & MD of the organization is being scheduled for tomorrow.
