I think I have now broken the World Record in time saving with iMachining.

I was yesterday at a very big company in the optical industry to do a benchmark cut with iMachining. They are currently using other competitor CAM software.

It was the most difficult material which I had ever cut: Din Norm 1.4980 (X6NiCrTiMoVB25-15-2).

The CNC Machine was a DMG80FD with MillPlus controller.

The part was cut previously by a sub-contractor of the company in 16 hours using Competitor CAM software (5 seats).

I cut it with iMachining in 45 min!!!!!!!!!!

They had spent previously so many days and weeks for tests and try to cut this so difficult material. And now comes someone from SolidCAM, uses iMachining to generate the program, has a perfect working post (thanks for the post Team), and cut the part in 45 minutes…

So the time saving was ~ 96 %. What an amazing saving in an unbelievable difficult materiall!!!

One other company, the sub-contractor for the big company who cut parts for them, saw my test cut there also. They use also the same competitor CAM software. Now both, the main company and sub-contractor, want to buy five systems of SolidCAM iMachining.
