We have been using  iMachining for 3 weeks - our main field of application is hard alloy steels, for instance, 42CrMo4.

We mainly have parts where we need to machine grooves and intersections.

At our last application a week ago, we have reduced the machining time with iMachining from 17 mins to 9 1/2 mins, and we did 10 parts instead of 5.

Then we have milled the same part with a higher iMachining level, and we reduced the machining time to 4 1/2 mins , as opposed to 17 mins with conventional processing.

For us this means, of course, better utilization of the CNC machine and tremendous time savings.

In addition, we can say that the CNC machine is much less loaded  by iMachining and it has much less noise and vibration, which can explain very well the life extension of the machine. We are really convinced about iMachining.
