圣迭戈，美国(SolidWorks 2014全球代理商大会)-SolidWorks的黄金合作伙伴SolidCAM展示专利的iMachining技术。iMachining作为单独的模块与SolidCAM其它CAM模块一起运行，iMachining跟其它CAM产品相比，通过材料切削的方式从根本上快速加工产品-恰到好处切削材料。其它CAM产品在材料切削上比较谨慎，不能恰到好处。如果不能使用最大的金属切削率，就会花费更多的步骤和时间。在SolidCAM客户的网站让我非常的震惊，之前使用5分钟加工的零件，现在使用iMachining只需要1分钟。“我们有非常好的刀具，” SolidCAM的COO Shaun Mymudes说，“我们可以用最佳的切削厚度进行切削。”
