AFMING Partners with SolidCAM

AFMING, a Chinese CNC Machine manufacturer based in Dongguan City, produces 3-Axis and 5-Axis Machine Centers with Siemens and Heindenhain controllers. In a very competitive market against other local Taiwanese and foreign manufacturers, AFMING is utlizing SolidCAM’s 3D CAM Software and Support to provide them with their competitive edge.

SolidCAM provides Application Engineers to support AFMING, cooperating with their engineers and customers to provide technical support related to SolidCAM’s software, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (test cuts), pre-sales training, and even after sales training.

Additionally, AFMING and SolidCAM work together on joint marketing activities in trade-shows as well as hold related seminars and open days no less than twice a year, to help promote each other’s products.

AFMING’s 5-Axis Machines are packaged together with SolidCAM’s Software for customers that do not have an existing CAM software product. AFMING endorses SolidCAM’s products alongside their machines, providing their existing customers an excellent replacement for their current CAM software.

Over the past few months, the strategic partnership between AFMING and SolidCAM has seen 10 new SolidCAM licenses being placed with the forecast of at least 30 more in 2020. AFMING is also looking at SolidCAM to help them expand into European markets utilizing SolidCAM’s strong Partner and Reseller network.
