<link http: www.premiumsolutions.pl _blank external link in new>Premium Solutions held a seminar, on November 19th 2013, at the Lower Silesian Innovation and Science Park in Wroclaw, Poland. The seminar was a result of collaboration between Premium Solutions, SolidCAM, <link http: www.fanuc.eu external link in new>Fanuc, <link http: www.hoffmann-group.com int home.html external link in new>Hoffmann Group Perschmann, and <link http: www.3dconnexion.com external link in new>3DConnexion. The seminar focused on opportunities to increase productivity in machining and was attended by more than 120 participants. 

Two panels were held: Managerial, dedicated to optimization, cost savings and increasing efficiency in machining.  And an Engineering panel aimed at engineers that work with SolidCAM technology on a daily basis and are interested in the latest improvements and enhancements SolidCAM has to offer.

In the executive panel, Premium Solutions presented SolidCAM’s revolutionary iMachining technology – iMachining saves 70% and more of cycle time and significantly increases tool life. iMachining brings CAM to a whole new level of performance – The Technology Wizard automatically calculates the cutting conditions for the iMachining toolpath. It provides optimal feeds and speeds, taking into account the toolpath, stock and tool material and machine specifications. 

 

As part of the executive panel Hoffmann Group - Perschmann presented tools of renowned GARANT brand and FANUC unveiled Fanuc Robodrill, their multi-tasking CNC machining center with numerous applications - from building prototypes to serial processing, guaranteeing the highest quality, precision and reliability.

In the engineering panel, participants learned about the latest and greatest in SolidCAM’s software and got up to speed with the new improvements in SolidCAM modules: HSM, HSS, Solid Probe, Turning, AdvancedMill-Turn, Indexial Multi Sided Milling and Simultaneous5-Axis Milling. Premium Solutions also presented iMachining 2D, iMachining3D, 2.5D Milling and Toolbox options.

3DConnexion has demonstrated the world's first wireless 3D Mouse - SpaceMouse Wireless with 3Dconnexion wireless technology and built-in rechargeable battery, which provides direct, real and advanced combination of 3D content.

To conclude the seminar, participants had the opportunity to watch iMachining cutting demonstrated live from SolidCAM’s technology center in Germany, on a FANUC Alpha Robodrill D21LiA5 integrated with the robot FANUC M20iA.

During the seminar, participants got the chance to win prized funded by the organizers and partners. This seminar was also an excellent opportunity for the experts to exchange ideas and experience.
