<link http: www.solidworld.it _blank external-link-new-window external link in new>SolidWorld, SolidCAM’s Italian reseller, has showed SolidCAM and its extraordinary iMachining technology that saves 70% or more in CNC machining time, and extends tool life dramatically, at MecSpe (Parma Fairground, northern Italy), an exhibition held for the Italian manufacturing industry.

The exhibition is a meeting point between production technologies and industrial supply chains. The innovation and the future production developments in the sector of mechanics and subcontractors were the main focus of the fair’s 13th edition, held traditionally at the beginning of spring time. 

This was an important occasion for SolidWorld to demonstrate SolidCAM’s software and the amazing capabilities of the revolutionary CAM module, iMachining - fully integrated in SolidWorks.

Visitors could see close up all of the CAM solutions and programming strategies SolidCAM offers such as 2.5D Milling, 3D Mill/HSM, Indexial 5 Axes, Simultaneous  5 Axes Milling, Turning and Advanced Mill-Turn and of course the iMachining technology, which uses its unique and patented Technology Wizard, to provide optimal feeds and speeds, taking into account the toolpath, stock and tool material and machine specifications.

Visitors had the chance to "touch" all the SolidCAM solutions and to see for themselves the iMachining technology and the unbelievable savings and increased efficiency it brings to CNC operations, translating into profits and success.
