(February 2011, Brno - ic/kdh) With an experience of nearly 30 years in developing CAM-Systems and its seamless single-window integration strategy in SolidWorks, started more than 10 years ago, SolidCAM grows step by step to be one of the most successful and leading CAM-solutions worldwide. More than 15.000 installed seats and a reseller network of more than 120 Resellers in 50 countries speaks for itself.

SolidCAM starts 2011 with a CAM technology offensive that will bring more benefits to the customers than any previous SolidCAM release. A preview of what´s coming up in SolidCAM 2011, to be released by end of February, was demonstrated at the European Resellers Meeting and SolidCAM 2011 launch in Brno, Czech Republic in January.

More than 70 people from 17 countries took part in the training on the to be shortly released SolidCAM 2011 and especially for training on the revolutionary new technology, iMachining.

The meeting was organized by Ivan Cimr, the European Sales Manager of SolidCAM Ltd. There was strong focus in this meeting from SolidCAM company headquarters. Emil Somekh, Founder and Managing Director of SolidCAM Ltd. was present and took active part in the meeting agenda. Ahmad Sweidan, SolidCAM's Product Manager and Harald Schumacher, Deputy Product Manager, played also a major role in the reseller training. As a special tutor for iMachining, there was Mickey Berman, iMachining chief scientist in SolidCAM.

Apart from having extensive training about the new functionality of SolidCAM 2011, resellers witnessed special testing of the new iMachining technology on a Hermle milling centre. Special measuring equipment proved the advantages of iMachining in maintaining a constant tool load, thus enabling a big material removal rate. The cutting has been shown at the Technology centre of the company SolidVision s.r.o., the biggest SolidWorks and SolidCAM reseller in the Czech Republic.

Emil Somekh: " The Reseller meeting was a great success by any measure. It was the longest Resellers Meeting we have ever held.
