Dear Emil,


I would like to share with you and other resellers the iMachining + HSM success that we have realized with our current SolidCAM client - <link http: marsgroup.se external-link-new-window external link in new>Mars group, Serbia.

In the recent past we took one part from this customer, that already uses SolidCAM software, and made several improvements with the combination of iMachining and HSM operations:

  1. Reduction of Rough and Finish operations from 104 to only 12 operations – Savings = 9 times 
  2. Reducing machining time from 15 min to 10 min per part – Savings = 33%
  3. Reduce number of  Tools used from two End Mills to one End Mill 
  4. Reducing programming time – iMachining + HSM
  5. Same quality from every CAM engineer for future use through the iMachining technology Wizard

 

Company: Mars group

CNC machine: Mazak FH4800 - Mazatrol 640M

Material: Aluminum 6082-T6 (UTS 310 Mpa)

iMachining level: Turbo 6 

Annual number of parts: 1000 pieces

Total saving of cycle time: 1000 x 5 min / 60 = 83 hours 


Customer was completely amazed – he got an offer for the iMachining module.
