Subject: Major cross upgrade of competitor CAM because of 80% saving in SolidCAM iMachining!!

Hello Emil,

The company <link http: www.feinwerkbau.de en home>Feinwerkbau Westinger & Altenburger GmbH produces air guns as sports arms and nearly every second sports shooter in Germany is using them -  or knows this airgun, so this brand is very famous.

Until now, they had a competitor CAM in use and although they are using SolidWorks too, they were not dissatisfied with their solution.

But in the beginning of the year, they have heard about iMachining and they have asked for a demo, although they have a big focus on Mill-turn too.

After the demo, we cut their part (16MnCr5) on the machine (Mori Seiki NH 4000).

With the first iMachining cutting attempt, the tool was running very quiet and smooth in a safe process.

Cutting- time without iMachining: 2,25 minutes.

Cutting- time with iMachining: 28 seconds!!!!! (80% saving)

Yesterday we could close the deal and they enable us to show their guns on exhibitions.

Two big advantages of SolidCAM led to the goal:

  1. The best integrated CAM-Solution for SolidWorks
  2. iMachining immense savings

They told us, that this will be just the start, they will order further licenses and won’t work anymore with the competitor CAM.

Mit besten Grüßen
Best regards

Dirk Klinge
