Hello Emil,

I visited SolidCAM customer, IAI – Commercial Aircraft Group, to demonstrate the power of iMachining 3D.  

We cut the first part from Aluminum 6061 with iMachining 3D 

CNC Machine: Awea
Machine parameters: Spin rate: 6000  Feed :2000
Material: 6061 Aluminum
Depth of cut: 50 mm
Tool: End mill, diameter 16, teeth 3 (Hanita)  

Cutting time customer: 32 minutes

iMachining Wizard: level 5 (no turbo) 

Cutting time iMachining: 14 minutes (57% saving)

We cut the second part from 4340 Steel with iMachining 3D 

CNC Machine: Awea
Machine parameters: Spin rate: 6000  Feed :2000
Material: 4340 Steel
Depth of cut: 24 mm
Tool: End mill, diameter 12, teeth 4 (Hanita)   

Cutting time customer: 50 minutes  

iMachining Wizard: level 5 (no turbo)

Cutting time iMachining: 12 minutes (76% saving)

The demonstration with iMachining 3D was watched by five people and they were all very impressed.  They asked me to give a quote for iMachining 2D and 3D.
