Center for Creative Innovation in Korea Purchases SolidCAM

SolidCAM KOREA showed that one of the many advantages of SolidCAM is that it is a complete CAM solution, capable of handling all desired machining processes. Today, three months after the purchase, postprocessors for the various controllers were prepared, and the R&D and mass production of various parts are performed using SolidCAM.

SolidCAM KOREA is a SolidCAM-affiliated company that is accelerating the expansion of the SolidCAM Market in South Korea. They provide sales and technical support for SolidCAM, and conduct reseller training, user training, and demonstrations through the SolidCAM Technical Center that was established in 2019.

The Center for Creative Innovation is a representative place for R&D and mass production of defense parts in Korea. It possesses a variety of CNC equipment and, due to the nature of the defense industry, is also in close collaboration with government agencies.

CAM software is an essential component in the production of defense technology. To this end, a demonstration of competition was conducted between PowerMill, HyperMill, CATIA CAM and SolidCAM. The SolidCAM package was purchased due to the demonstration of integrated SolidCAM’s technological advantages and development potential.

SolidCAM KOREA showed that one of the many advantages of SolidCAM is that it is a complete CAM solution, capable of handling all desired machining processes. Through communication with customers, the Center for Creative Innovation has proceeded to implement the 5-axis machining. However, in the future, when they expand their machining needs to include multi-axis and specialty equipment such as Mill-Turn and Swiss-Type, they will have the ability to respond by adding the appropriate SolidCAM modules.
