SolidCAM UK Ltd will be exhibiting on stand 5915 at the UK’s largest manufacturing technologies event – <link http: www.machexhibition.com page.cfm link="1" _blank>MACH 2016 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, 11th-15th April 2016. Over five days, this outstanding biennial event will welcome more than 20,000 visitors wishing to find the most innovative manufacturing technologies available today.

SolidCAM UK will be demonstrating its full suite of SolidCAM CAD/CAM products for milling and turning, including its software for advanced mill-turn applications. Live cutting using SolidCAM’s unique, patented and revolutionary iMachining technology, will be demonstrated on the booth.

SolidCAM’s iMachining technology saves 70% in CNC machining time and more, and extends tool life dramatically. SolidCAM UK were overwhelmed with the response that we had had at MACH 2014. The aisles were literally blocked with visitors to our stand and the concept of software presentations, together with hourly LIVE demonstrations proved to work extremely well.

Therefore, during each day of MACH2016, SolidCAM UK will run live cutting demonstrations using a <link http: www.doosan.com doosaninfracoremachinetool en main.do>Doosan DNM400 Vertical Machining Centre with Siemens Controller, provided by <link http: www.millscnc.co.uk>Mills CNC, work-holding provided by <link http: www.roemheld.com en>Roemheld and cutting tools provided by <link http: www.iscar.com index.aspx countryid>Iscar Tools. The live cutting will fully demonstrate the 70% savings which are possible with iMachining, enabling machine shops to see for themselves how it can make them more productive and profitable.

Visitors will have the opportunity to talk with SolidCAM UK’s Certified Application Engineers about the latest version of SolidCAM. Modules include 2.5D Milling, HSS, 3D HSM, Simultaneous 5-Axis Milling, iMachining 2D & 3D, Turning and Advanced Mill-Turn for multi-turret and multi-spindle machines, as well as the new Solid Probe module.
