Since opening their Technology Centre based in Milton Keynes, in November 2016, <link http: www.solidcamuk.com _blank external link in new>SolidCAM UK have been holding a series of successful “Total Solution” Seminars, demonstrating the <link internal link in current>power of SolidCAM CAD/CAM and the revolutionary, unique and patented SolidCAM 2D/3D iMachining module.

SolidCAM provides seamless single window integration with full associativity to the SolidWorks design model, and SolidCAM iMachining saves 70% and more in CNC machining time and extends tool life dramatically.

The seminar’s goal is to show how successful manufacturing can be achieved by putting all the right partners together.

In the last seminar, held on 7th September 2017, participants watched live cutting demonstrations which exhibited the benefits and advantages of <link internal link in current>SolidCAM’s iMachining. The demonstrations were carried out using a Romi D-800 Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) kindly supplied by <link http: www.romi-uk.com _blank external link in new>Romi Machines UK Ltd. Work-holding was supplied by<link https: www.1mta.com _blank external link in new> Machine Tool Accessories (MTA), and <link https: www.hoffmann-group.com us en hus _blank external link in new>Hoffmann Group provided the cutting tools.

The seminar had a great turn out and attendees were also able to discuss their exact manufacturing needs with the participating experts.
